WHO I AM
My name is Kaisu Keisala-Kaseja and I am a freelance translator in addition to being a so-called “digital nomad”. I have my office in my backpack and travel freely around the globe. Usually you can find me somewhere where the sun is shining! But have no doubts, having been a translator and a translation project manager for many years, I know what it takes to produce great translations and the infrastructure of Kielikulkuri is state of the art. Kielikulkuri’s is headquartered in Tampere, Finland, but wherever I am at the present moment throughout the world, I am at your service.
I have been able to attain a great plethora of skills due to my education and a great deal of translation and business experience. In addition to having completed a Master’s degree in German Philology at the University of Helsinki and having gained a great deal of work experience in the fields of translation, international business management, communications and information technology, I had lived and worked in those fields extensively, having the opportunity to work at various offices in international teams, complementing my activities as a freelance translator.
I am an active member in the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL), Translation Industry Professionals Association (KAJ), German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Finnish Enterprises (Suomen Yrittäjät).
